Historians who refuse the temptation to complacency can create a habitat where curiosity, enterprise, hope, and humor thrive. These risk-takers are forever asking themselves—and others—the key questions of Applied History: *How did our present dilemmas and conflicts come into being? *And how could knowledge of those origins contribute to resolving those dilemmas and conflicts?
Why Applied History?
Applied History responds to two urgent problems:
